Who we are

This website is operated by IDYLLIC SMARTHOMES LTD ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

02

What we collect

  • Order and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, state, and any order notes you write.
  • Order records: the products you order, amounts, payment method, order reference, and order status.
  • Payment confirmation: you enter card or bank details on Paystack's secure page, not on our website. We do not see or store them. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with a transaction reference.
  • Messages: information you send us by phone, WhatsApp, or email.
  • Browser storage: your cart and your light or dark theme choice are saved on your own device.
03

How we use your data

  • To process, confirm, and deliver your order.
  • To contact you about your order or delivery.
  • To provide warranty, returns, refunds, and customer support.
  • To keep records and meet accounting and legal requirements.
  • To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.

We process your data to carry out our contract with you (your order), to meet our legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests, such as preventing fraud and keeping the website secure.

04

Who we share it with

  • Paystack, which processes online payments.
  • Technology providers that run this website and store its data, such as Cloudflare and Supabase.
  • Delivery partners, who need your name, phone number, and address to deliver your order.
  • Authorities or regulators, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

Some of our technology providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data stays protected.

05

Cookies and browser storage

We use your browser's storage to remember your cart and your theme choice. This stays on your device. Staff members use a secure login session. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies.

06

How long we keep your data

We keep order records for as long as we need them for delivery, warranty, returns, accounting, and legal requirements. After that, we delete or anonymise them.

07

How we protect your data

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08

Your rights

Under Nigerian data-protection law, you may have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your data, where the law allows.
  • Object to or ask us to restrict certain uses of your data.
  • Withdraw your consent, where we rely on it.
  • Ask for your data in a portable format.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details at the top of this page. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

09

Children

This website is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
